Breathe & Ground for the Holidays

For several years, I’ve offered a Gratitude Flow on Thanksgiving morning. We would practice together with love and appreciation in our hearts, and then we’d move on to wherever we were going afterwards. This year, I’m not offering this class, but I’m so very grateful for the support I’ve received as I rebuild my classes and I wanted to give you a little something.

Whenever we enter a holiday season or special occasion, I remind myself that words like ‘holidays’ and ‘family’ and ‘festivities’ (among others) can evoke very different emotions and memories. What’s warm and pleasant for one can be triggering and painful for another. Whether we’re aggravated with frustration or overwhelmed with excitement, we can feel ‘outside’ of ourselves. And the most simple way to get back into our bodies is to breathe.

I’ve filmed a short video to help you ground into your body and tune into your breath. At the end, I pull a card where you’ll receive a special message.
